Paras H. Chaudhari (Salahuddin, the oldest son, alternate)

Paras H. Chaudhari credits Astoria Park as the birth of his career as an actor, filmmaker, and musician. Paras began writing the script with partner Chrysovalantis Stamelos in the summer of 2004. Drawing inspiration from his love for basketball, hip-hop, and his constant struggle for cultural acceptance Paras delivers a powerful performance as Aman, a talented young lyricist with a hair-trigger temper. Paras previously appeared in Crescent Street Films’ Jeet, Priya Shelly’s Faculty of Law, and made his television debut June 2008 on Law & Order: Criminal Intent – Episode “Assassin.”

Paras was born in Kalol, India, and spent his childhood in Jersey City and his adolescence in the outer suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his B.S. in Information Management & Technology from Syracuse University before moving to NYC in the fall 2004. Soon after, Paras and Valantis teamed up to form Crescent Street Films, LLC. He is currently training at HB Studio under Lorraine Serabian and Vocal Coach Ilse Pfeifer.
