Swaraj Sehajpal has been a teacher of English and Theatre in India. His involvement with theatre dates back to his college days. He later acted in several full length Hindi Plays on Tagore Theatre Chandigarh and Ravindra Rangshala Bhopal. He adapted some English stories and plays into Hindi plays for his students. They were " Monkey's Paw", "The Other Side", Leo Tolstoy's " The Peasants Bread" etc. His latest phase of Acting consisted of Radio Plays from All India Radio Rohtak in India,where he started by giving his voice to country wide Radio lessons for rural children, before graduating to the Drama Division of Akashvani i.e. All India Radio. Last year he acted in "Ramleela" staged in Lincoln Theatre NYC under the direction of Padma Khanna, the famous Bollywood actress. |
