Monisha Shiva (Fatima, the daughter)

Monisha Shiva is an actress, dancer, and painter, who was born and raised in NYC. She has loved the performing arts, ever since playing "pretend" in school preschool. She further developed acting and dancing skills through Kathak, an Indian classical style of dance, in Edison, NJ. In her comeback to NYC, she studied at William Esper Studios and Studio 5. She appears in major motion pictures, such as The Guru, Cosmopolitan, and Karma, Confessions & Holi in addition to films by independent artists. She acted in New York theater productions of Rats and I, Kreon, and first appeared in The Domestic Crusaders during its Nuyorican Poets Café engagement. An avid world traveler, Monisha believes it is important for women to experience their own mobility in this world! For more information, visit www.monishashiva.com
